It is also very important to switch UAC ( User Account Control ) and DEP (Data Execution Prevention) off. This will make sure that the hack is injected properly and works ingame. Also, for Windows Vista and Windows 7 make sure that you install DirectX 9, as those system don't come with it by default. - Disable UAC - C++ 2008 Redistributable Package 32 bit - C++ 2008 Redistributable Package 64 bit - C++ 2010 Redistributable Package 32 bit - C++ 2010 Redistributable Package 64 bit - C++ 2012 Redistributable Package (Has both X86 and X64, do not select the ARM one) - C++ 2013 Redistributable Package (Has both x86 and x64, do not select the ARM one) - DirectX 9 Full Installation - DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer (doesn't include DX9!) - Download: Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Web Installer) - Microsoft Download Center - Download Details - Disable DEP for the loader To do this go into "advanced system settings" then click on settings under Performance, then going into "Data Execution Prevention" and making sure the second option is selected. If both options are grayed out then go into the start menu, type cmd and right click and run it as administrator. Once you have done that type this command in "bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx OptIn" then press enter. If you did it right it should say that the operation completed successfully / Please set DEP to completely off if you are using any of sycore cheats and the dayz standalone cheat, Open CMD as Admin and copy & paste " bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff " and it should apply, restart computer and check DEP to make sure it is grayed out completely Step 2: Make sure your video card drivers are up-to-date: - nVidia Video Card Drivers - AMD Video Card Drivers Step 3: Also make sure your Punkbuster is up-to-date (only if the game uses Punkbuster).
